What We Believe

We believe the King James Bible, including both the Old and New Testaments, is the inerrant, infallible, and inspired Word of God. It is our sole and final authority in all matters of faith and practice, and it is the book we open and preach in every service.

We believe God is a Person, eternally existing as a Trinity in unity — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — three persons and yet but one God, the same in essence and equal in power and glory.

We believe the Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity — co-equal, co-eternal, and co-essential with the Father and the Son. He convicts the world of sin, and He indwells and empowers every believer to live for Christ.

We believe that Jesus Christ, eternally existing, is the only begotten Son of God, who became a man totally apart from sin — being conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He lived a sinless life and is fully God and fully man.

We believe man was created in the image of God but fell through sin, bringing not only physical death but also spiritual death — a separation from God. All people are now sinners by nature and by choice, unable to save themselves.

We believe the Lord Jesus Christ suffered and died as a substitutionary sacrifice for the sins of the whole world. He was buried, and He arose from the dead in the same body in which He was crucified, and He ascended to the right hand of the Father.

We believe man is lost and must be born again to enter the kingdom of God. Salvation is by grace alone, through personal faith in the finished work of Christ — not of works, religion, or human merit. A person is saved the moment he repents toward God and trusts Christ as his personal Saviour.

We believe the church is a local, visible body of believers, scripturally baptized and united on the principles of God's Word for the purpose of making, baptizing, and teaching disciples. Each local church is independent and self-governing under the headship of Christ.

We believe the Lord Jesus Christ Himself is coming again in the air, at any moment, to catch up His saints to Himself and to reward their service. We look for that blessed hope with expectancy and joy.

We believe every Christian should live a life separated from the world and its worldly philosophies, maintaining conduct grounded in scriptural principles — not in isolation, but so that our lives point clearly to Christ.
